I am Pandit Nanda-braja das
cakṣur unmīlitaṁ yena tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ
I am a teacher first, a spiritual guide, and a steward of the community growing around this work. I am a servant in the line of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇavas, within the broader tradition of Sanatan Dharma, studying and teaching under the instruction of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda.
I also perform the saṁskāras and ceremonies of our tradition, following the Hari-bhakti-vilāsa of Śrīla Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī, and I serve in ceremonial capacity from Rādhā-Kalachandji's Dhama in Dallas. As a priest and teacher in this tradition, I stand as a representative of the Lord and His devotees, and I hold that responsibility with confidence, care, and humility. As a guide, I bring that same devotional orientation into every consultation, while using each tool according to what it actually is and what it can honestly offer.
Consultation, teaching, and coaching happen from Cintāmaṇi Yoga Shala, at Rādhā-Kalachandji's Dhama, a quieter setting for the parts of this work that unfold in ongoing conversation rather than in ritual. Cowherd Village is the teaching and devotional community growing around the same life of study and practice.
I am a householder myself. Married for twenty-two years, and a father of two children now making their way into the world. The passages I help families honor are the ones I am living too.
My hope each time we meet is the same: that you understand what is happening and why, that teaching and ritual become a door rather than a mystery, and that when it is over, the Lord has been pleased.
